Despite their significant size, most cave spiders are relatively harmless to humans, but why take chances.
The water generally comes from what ever is directly above on the surface, which is never something good.
Artifacts should remain left untouched. Have you ever heard of a “good” curse?
“Bottomless” pits aren’t. But that really won’t matter if you fall down one, will it?
Bad air comes mostly from wet organic sources. Sometimes your fellow explorers.
