Today is the birthday of Hummingbird Jones, jug player. It is also the first day the Maladroit Langurs attacked, and the day a poem was edited. It is teh Feast Day of St. Janoos, and in the garden, there are beets.

So far, the only known recording of Hummingbird Jones appears to have been an unreleased test pressing for Paramount, circa 1928. Perhaps Jones’ insistence on a career as a soloist, rather than joining a band, may have attributed to his obscurity. 7@=e
