If it doesn’t take the top of your head off, it’s not a worthwhile pepper.
PermalinkThe difficulty, as you may know, is that heat should not be the only quality possessed by the pepper. If one simply wants heat for the sake of heat, it would be more advantageous to use pure capsaicin.

PermalinkThere’s an obvious edit break. It starts saying it’s the birthday of the affectionate python and then goes to the feast day of st. wallace. If it isn’t a botched edit, then I say it’s not like Mord to drop non-sequitur factoids with no explanation as to the significance and relevance.
[ooc] You are actually incorrect. There have always been little tidbits like this, just not as much recently. If you go back to the first year or so, this sort of thing is sprinkled in fairly regularly.
