Today we will commemorate Sir Edward Marlbone’s breathtaking treatise, and the last known Sugar Plum Fairy’s death. It is the Feast Day of St. Barnaby, and in the garden there are acorns.

No wonder the poor thing died alone…
Alas, it was not until 1905 that Dr. Eino Närrenschwamm discovered that an excess of marzipan in the diet can cause sterility in fairies. This was not noticed before, because marzipan bushes in the wild are extremely few and far between.
